Welcome to Concrete Cows and Roundabouts.
The aim of my project here is to try and capture and share the wildlife in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. For now I’m going to concentrate on wildlife in the north east of the city.
I will be covering the areas of Lodge Lake, North Loughton Park, Ouse Valley Park (New Bradwell, Old Wolverton and Stony Stratford). I hope to also include the balancing lakes in Wolverton Mill and just for some good measure I think a Roundabout or two (who knows)
Hopefully at some point I can incorporate the rest of the city, but for now I'm unable to get about so much.
Also with a bit of luck this site will help prove to people that Milton Keynes is more than just "Concrete Cows and Roundabouts".
OK so I am no Bill Oddie or David Bailey, I just like wildlife and fancy having a go at something a bit different and hopefully will get some interesting photos and maybe some unexpected visitors. Just for all you strange people who like spiders look no further as you will not find anything to do with them on my site.
So here goes for a bit of light hearted wildlife watching and some amateur photography and, with a serious lack of website building knowledge, fingers crossed.
